To Erica, my Buttercup,
Today and always, I not only share with you our beautiful children, David and Katrina, but also our lovely moments and memories together. I am grateful for the many years we have had, as you gave me your love so unconditionally, and your family welcomed me into their hearts and made me part of a bigger connection. Although I will miss you dearly, I realize how blessed we all are for having gotten to know and love you. Your warm presence and smile always lit up my world. Your drive and determination in support of our family always gave us opportunities to experience the best. You always showed initiative when it came to planning vacations which many times was inclusive of your family on either the Blake or Alexander side. You made sure we had the best chances to enjoy life. You planned all of our vacations. All I did was make sure I could get off work and lug your heavy bags. I always wanted to do for you. Even when I was being stubborn in fulfilling your wish I generally would always come around. You knew I always wanted to make you happy. I know you never wanted me upset with you and I never wanted you upset with me. Thank God you had me under your spell. I am so glad that I retired when I did.
Little did I know that 2014-2021 would be so precious.
Thank you for choosing me in your life.
Buttercup I will always love you and you will be there in my heart for eternity. 😘 Dave
